Geeta Kapur, the salon owner, is a licensed cosmetologist in the state of California. She arrived in USA back in 1996 with training in computer field and initially worked in the IT industry as a MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) after undergoing additional training in USA. However, she took time off to raise a family. By the time she was ready to go back, she felt that the industry had changed quite a bit and instead of spending more effort to retrain  and finally get another job, she decided to follow her passion for taking care of her and other people's beauty needs with plans to open her business eventually. 

Geeta enrolled at Paris Beauty College in Concord, CA and after 1 year of intensive training and taking a challenging exam, she got her cosmetologist license in 2002. Thereafter, she spent many years working at various locations such as Super Cuts and other private salons where she honed her skills as a cosmetologist. When she felt that she had gotten enough experience and had built enough clientele base, she decided to branch out on her own and as a result opened a salon "Geeta Herbal Spa and Salon" in Antioch, CA. That salon lasted for 6 years but then she decided to move to a newer, improved location to provide a better experience for her clients and where she would have a better opportunity to grow her business. She also changed the business name to "Heavenly Spa And Salon" to complete the whole new look. She is very patient, always smiles and goes out of her way to satisfy her clients needs. She firmly believes that her clients needs are of the utmost importance and she is committed to meeting those needs at very reasonable prices. As a result, a high percentage of her business is from repeat customers and referrals.
